On the turnover and excretory products of cholic and chenodeoxycholic acid in man Bile acids and steroids 134

, : On the turnover and excretory products of cholic and chenodeoxycholic acid in man Bile acids and steroids 134. Jour Biol Chem: 2299-2304

The turnover of cholic and chenodeoxycholic acid was determined simultaneously in 2 human subjects by administration of tritium-labeled cholic acid and 24-C14-chenodeoxycholic acid. In both cases, the daily production of chenodeoxycholic acid, 0.29 and 0.39 g, was somewhat larger than that of cholic acid, 0.20 and 0.19 g.
