Polyporaceae Monograph of European species compared with species from northern Asia

, : Polyporaceae Monograph of European species compared with species from northern Asia. Atlas Champignons Europe: 1-624, 42

This voluminous monograph, issued in fascicles from 1937 to 1942, comprises all the hitherto known spp. of the Polyporaceae in the temperate zone of the Old World. The author divides the spp. of this family into 21 genera and adds the family Fistulin-aceae with one genus. 258 spp. are described and illustrated. The differentiation of the genera is based predominantly on microscopic features, which allow a better arrangement of the spp. according to their phylogenetic affinity.
