Proof of thryoid stimulation by thyrotropic hormone in functional endocrine semiology

, : Proof of thryoid stimulation by thyrotropic hormone in functional endocrine semiology. Rass Fisiopatol Clin E Terap 25(5): 367-374

300 units of thyrotropic hormone daily for 4-6 days produced no increase of thryoid function in cases of myxedema, but quick and marked increase of serum protein-bound iodine and basal metabolic rate in normal individuals.
