Reaction of animals to Cardlazol and Hexenal as a function of age

, : Reaction of animals to Cardlazol and Hexenal as a function of age. Farmakol Toksikol 29(4): 404-406

Experiments conducted on rabbits and albino mice produced evidence showing that the susceptibility of old animals to the action of different pharmacological agents varied uniformly. With increasing age one can see a slightly higher sensitivity of hemodynamic and respiratory centers to the effects of metrazol and, particularly, hexobarbital.
