Some etiological factors and lesions in cerebral anoxia

, : Some etiological factors and lesions in cerebral anoxia. Amer Jour Clin Path Tech Suppl 8(6): 629-650

The lesions of cerebral anoxia are rather uniform when all the factors operating to produce them and the wide range of variations caused by time of examination in relation to the injury are considered. More extended detn. of the oxygen content of arterial blood is urged where anoxia may be a factor. However, this tells little about cellular anoxia, which requires complicated tissue respiration methods, simplification of which is desirable.
