Spontaneous disturbances in mitosis occurring in the radicles of the apomictical form of Poa alpina

, : Spontaneous disturbances in mitosis occurring in the radicles of the apomictical form of Poa alpina. Izv Sibirsk Otd Akad Nauk Sssr Ser Biol Med Nauk 1: 137-139

A spontaneous fluctuation in the number of chromosomes in a single plant occur in the 38-chromosome apomictical form of Poa alpina. Disturbances in mitotic division were noted in such plants. Such disturbances can lead to an irregular distribution of chromosomes in the daughter cells and to a loss of some chromosomes or to their rearrangement.
