Studies of the female urethra, especially as regards the closing mechanism of the bladder

, : Studies of the female urethra, especially as regards the closing mechanism of the bladder. Acta Radiol 13(3/4): 433-458

It was previously shown that the normal ? urethra at one point has a previously undescribed angle, and that a relative incontinence of urine is closely connected with a straightening out of this angle. The present investigation confirms these conclusions, showing that the closing mechanism of the bladder is primarily a function of the urethra itself, and only secondarily of its surroundings.
