Studies on different laboratory tests for the rheumatoid arthritis serum factor 1
Winblad, Sten, 1960: Studies on different laboratory tests for the rheumatoid arthritis serum factor 1. Acta Pathol Et Microbiol Scand: 499-514
The first part of this study is concerned with a comparison between hemagglutination with sensitized sheep cells, the latex fixation test and the acryl fixation test, and with the occurrence of the rheumatoid arthritis serum (RAS) factor in whole serum, in the euglobulin fraction and in the cold pre-cipitable fraction. The acryl fixation test is judged preferable to the latex fixation test. The 3 tests gave parallel results in 70-75% of the sera from rheumatoid arthritis patients.
