Benzpyrene, dibenzanthracene, folliculin and diethylstilbestrol were applied to the skin of mice or injd. intraperit. Carcinoma developed in only 10%, but degenerative changes were observed in various parenchymatous organs and especially in the liver. The observed degenerative changes may be of importance in carcinogenesis.
