, : The occurrence of Ixodes affinis Neumann on Blackbeard Island, Georgia. Proc Entomol Soc Washington 64(2): 105-106

Sixteen of these Central and South American ticks were taken from a single deer in 1960. Of 1051 ticks taken from deer and dogs in 1961 and 1962, none were of this sp. This is a new record for Georgia and the second report for the United States.
