, : Two new methods of concentration and purification of polio virus. Arch Ges Virusforsch 12(4): 455-462

These methods result from the observation that the virus particles precipitate at a slightly lowered pH value after the virus suspension has been desalted by dialysis or in the ion-exchange column. The degrees of concentration and purity were ascertained by determining infectivity and with the aid of the comple -ment-fixation test.
