Uber Loslichkeit, Dissoziation und Spannung der Kohlensaure im Harn

, : Uber Loslichkeit, Dissoziation und Spannung der Kohlensaure im Harn. Biochem Zeitschr 230(4/6): 395-410

The measured CO2 tensions of 20 urines were not those of a tension equilibrium between urine and tissues. The observed tensions can be explained as the result of a continuous disturbance of equilibrium due to mixing of portions of urine from different phases of secretion, differing in amount, hydrogen ion concentration and buffer capacity. The supposed physiological significance of urinary CO2 tension does not exist.
