, : A new species of Bactrodesmium from white spruce. Can J Bot 45(10): 1777-1781

Bactrodesmium obliquum n. sp. is described and illustrated from material on bark of Picea glauca (Moench) Voss collected in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The species is characterized by punctiform, shining sporodochia and balastic, broadly oval, versicolored, 4-septate, dark-banded conidia, the apical and basal cells of which become obliquely or longitudinally septate. It is compared and contrasted with related species.
