A note on Ectocarpus fasciculatus Harvey

, : A note on Ectocarpus fasciculatus Harvey. Bot Notiser 114(2): 239-241

Attention is drawn to the dimorphism occurring in Ectocarpus fasciculatus Harv. A myrionemoid stage with long and slender plurilocular sporangia precedes the typical Ectocarpus stage. Similar polymorphism has been recorded earlier in other brown algae.
