A pro-teose in the urine

, : A pro-teose in the urine. Lancet 219(5579): 231-237

The preparation and properties of a proteose-like substance isolated from the urine in allergic conditions is described. If reinjected intradermally into the patient both local and general reactions have been obtained. It has been used to desensitize patients, and its significance, and results of treatment are discussed.
