Biomedical and Health Research , Vol 7 European medicines research Perspectives in pharmacotoxicology and pharmacovigilance

, : Biomedical and Health Research , Vol 7 European medicines research Perspectives in pharmacotoxicology and pharmacovigilance. Fracchia, G N Biomedical and Health Research (Amsterdam); European medicines research: Perspectives in pharmacotoxicology and pharmacovigilance vii+421p

This volume has been compiled to accentuate the necessity for a research program on pharmaceuticals within the European Community. A number of critical reasons for this view are presented: (1) the creation of the current Third Framework Program for Research, (2) the scientific standard of the European Medicines Evaluation Agency will need to be the highest in the field, (3) international harmonization, and (4) the importance of the activities in the pharmaceutical research community. This collection of papers has been separated into three sections: European medicines research, research in pharmacotoxicology, and research in pharmacovigilance. It contains illustrations, charts, graphs, and an author index.
