Chemical and energy composition of some feeds for broiler chicks at two ages

, : Chemical and energy composition of some feeds for broiler chicks at two ages. Revista Brasileira De Zootecnia: 7, 1251-1256

This experiment was conducted to determine of the values of apparent metabolizable energy (AME) and nitrogen corrected apparent metabolizable energy (AMEn) and to determine of the chemical composition of some feeds using male broiler chickens fed at 21-30 days old and 41-50 days old. The traditional method of total excreta collection was used in the study. The birds were distributed to a completely randomized experimental design, with 11 diets, 10 with tested feeds and one reference diet.
