Cycthostomum tetracanthum and Cylicocyclus auriculatus were identified as parasites of Brazilian Equus asinus from the States of Maranhao, Piaui, Ceara, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraiba, Pernambuco, Bahia and Minas Gerais. These parasites were found on 78.9 and 57.9% of the asinines submitted to necropsy. Specimens or these parasites were described and compared with others descriptions found in the literature.
