Protective effects of extract from dates and ascorbic acid on thioacetamide-induced hepatotoxicity in rats

, : Protective effects of extract from dates and ascorbic acid on thioacetamide-induced hepatotoxicity in rats. Iranian Journal Of Pharmaceutical Research: 3, 201

The ameliorative activity of the aqueous extract of the flesh of dates (<i>P. dactylifera</i>) and ascorbic acid on thioacetamide-induced hepatotoxicity was studied in rats. Sixty male rats were divided into 6 equal groups of 10. Two groups were the controls, one treated with thioacetamide and one with only distilled water.
