Protective effects of glycine in cardiomyocyte subjected to ischemia and hypoxia

, : Protective effects of glycine in cardiomyocyte subjected to ischemia and hypoxia. Progress In Modern Biomedicine: 6, 1093-1095

A study was conducted to investigate the protective effects of glycine in cardiomyocyte subjected on ischemia and hypoxia. Cardiomyocytes model were established in vitro. The content of ATP, ADP and AMP were tested by high performance liquid chromatogram (HPLC). The content of ATP of cardiomyocytes subjected to ischaemia and hypoxia were significantly lower (<i>P</i><0.01) after 1 h. On the contrary, the content of ADP and AMP were significantly higher.
