Stable beer in a changing world to improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often

, : Stable beer in a changing world to improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often. Brewer & Distiller International: 8, 35-40

This paper initially defines the shelf-life of beer and provides evidence showing that claimed shelf-life is not always achieved (list of beers from supermarket shelves and their shelf-life). It also presents a list of best practices to optimize beer colloidal stability and a list of best brewing practice to optimize lager flavour stability.
