This book is a textbook on the topic of the surgical treatment of intracranial pathologies. The 43 individually authored chapters in this volume are grouped under the headings general techniques, anterior cranial fossa and orbit, middle cranial fossa, approaches to the midline and intraventricular regions, tentorial region, approaches to the posterior fossa, lateral approaches, and special techniques and combined approaches. Each chapter contains several illustrative case examples accompanied by photographs. This textbook, which is indexed and illustrated with figures and several color as well as some black and white photographs, should be a valuable reference tool for residents and senior neurosurgeons.
