Fibromyxoma of bone

, : Fibromyxoma of bone. Radiology 130(1): 97-99

Two new cases of fibromyxoma of bone are reported. Fibromyxoma is a rare variant of a benign fibrous lesion of bone characterized by exuberant mucin production and a growth potential which is sometimes comparable to that of an aggressive or malignant tumor. Interpretation of the radiographic findings may be difficult. Fortunately, the histological appearance is unmistakably benign.
