Pharmacokinetic characteristics of propranolol in patients with a history of acute myocardial infarct

, : Pharmacokinetic characteristics of propranolol in patients with a history of acute myocardial infarct. Farmakologiia i Toksikologiia 50(3): 87-89

Peculiarities of propranolol pharmacokinetics in patients with acute myocardial infarction were determined after oral administration of 80 mg of the drug and compared with control group of patients with stage II hypertensive disease: a significant increase of Cmax, Tmax and AUC without changes of kel and T1/2. A direct linear correlation (r = 0.86, p = 0.02) and inverse linear correlation (r = -0.54, p = 0.1) with the duration of the disease were revealed.
