Spinal cord compression in diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis

, : Spinal cord compression in diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis. Radiology 142(1): 119-120

Neurologic complications due to cervical spinal cord compression developed in a patient with diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (Forestier disease). This resulted from osseous proliferation along the posterior border of the C5-6 vertebral bodies. Surgical decompression resulted in relief of the symptoms.
