A case of cervical myelopathy treated by "open-door laminoplasty

, : A case of cervical myelopathy treated by "open-door laminoplasty. Neurologia i Neurochirurgia Polska 33(6): 1449-56; Discussion 1457

A case of cervical myelopathy is reported. In the treatment "open-door" laminoplasty was applied using titanium implants after laminoplasty for stabilization of the posterior bone block. The "open-door" laminoplasty is an easy and safe method making possible avoiding of such complications after laminectomy as instability, kyphotic deformity and development of scar compressing the spinal cord.
