The role of proteolytic enzymes and their inhibitors in malignant neoplasm invasion (literature review)

, : The role of proteolytic enzymes and their inhibitors in malignant neoplasm invasion (literature review). Biokhimiia 59(3): 340-352

Putative mechanisms by which proteinases and their inhibitors participate in tumour invasion and possible involvement of proteinase inhibitors in tumour growth regulation are considered. The significance of proteinases and their inhibitors for diagnosis of cancer is evaluated.
