Successful treatment using thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) to mycotic aortic aneurysm; report of a case

, : Successful treatment using thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) to mycotic aortic aneurysm; report of a case. Kyobu Geka. Japanese Journal of Thoracic Surgery 67(7): 579-582

We describe a case with mycotic aneurysm in a descending thoracic aorta. We applied thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) technique to that aortic aneurysm after administering the high dose antibiotics and controlling the infection. Postoperative course was uneventful and he was in a good condition.
